I wish like hell that I had a computer capable of making fanvids. There are so many terrible ones out there, and I'd love to have a hand in making something beautiful. And on top of all that, there are so many things I watch that nobody else really does, so it would be nice to be able to add to an already extensive list of shows/movies that have (good) fanvids made about them.

I got bored last night so I decided to do some drawing. It's just a freehand pencil drawing of something that's got my interest at the moment :-P



So, yeah. There it is. I can't draw actual pictures for shit, but I have always had a love for drawing words and trying out new fonts and such. And shading, I love shading. Anywho, just wanted to record this somewhere. Later days.

I just finished reading Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg. And I watched the film with my mum for about the 8th time last night.

Like most other novels-turned-film, there were a lot of things that were left out of the movie, and some parts of the story were completely different. Ages, timelines, the way certain events took place, who was there when different things happened. Anyway, I was impressed by the novel nonetheless. It made me feel happy when they were happy, sad when they were sad, and nervous as a schoolboy with a crush during any Idgie/Ruth moments. That ability to invoke emotion is definitely one of the most important things I look for in a book, and this one most certainly delivered.

I'm still pushing through Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but next on my reading list just has to be Fingersmith. I watched it again the other night while my mum was playing around on the computer and by about 10 minutes in she had to come watch it with me. She was hooked. So I wouldn't mind reading the novel just to see what it's like. I'm sure I'll love it.

Also, I watched Catch That Kid on TV the other night and I was kind of impressed. It was a cool movie. Jennifer Beals is not entirely what I would call a great actor, but at least she didn't annoy me. And from this experience came Actress Crush #323545654745: Kristen Stewart.

Yes folks, I know she's only 16, but I only have the mentality of a 16 year old so it's ok. Promise. Plus, she plays a lot of tomboyish roles. It's cute. Look at the pretty...



And I made a shiny new icon out of it (and I also made the shiny Serenity one I'm using at this very second)...



The words aren't meant to be legible, but they say 'I got cute to spare - Kristen Stewart'. It isn't a quote from her, just something I thought about her when I was making the icon. 'Cause, hello?!

Anyway, I'm in the icon making mood now so this pedophile boy is off to make him some pretty new ones, featuring Miss Kristen.

Just got back from Brisbane, packing up all my stuff, bringing my DVD's/CD's home. I'm tired and cranky and just generally shot.

I have about $170 to last me until I a)get a job, or b)get my bond back from my old flatmates. DALLAS, if I can't come up with any money in the next 4 days, I won't be able to get back to Brisbane for the Panic! concert, and if that happens I'd like to send the ticket back to you so that you can at least enjoy the concert and let me know how it was. I was really looking forward to it and I'm trying to figure something out but please let me know your address just in case.

I just watched a completely weird movie called Pretty Persuasions.The ultimate scene for me was the scene where Evan Rachel Wood was going down on, then making out with, Jane Krakowski. SO HOT.

Anyway, just needed to post about it to get it out of my head.

Just so you all know...Imagine Me & You is fucking awesome. Piper Perabo with an English accent is Teh Hotness and I really liked Lena Headey in this film. Not enough kissing/no nudity/no sex kinda sucked in my opinion, but overall the movie was sad/cute/sexy/tear-jerking in all the right places. It was cutesy. And I like the fact that it was one of the few lesbian films I have seen that have a happy ending.

Oh BTW. TONY HEAD is amazing as Piper Perabo's drunken father. They're an amazing cast. I'm happy to have seen this :-)

My life, at this point in time, revolves around a few very simple things. There are, of course, other things in my world, but the main ones are the ones that mean the most to me RIGHT NOW. They are ( the 3 F's. )

Summer. Fucking. Glau. is going to be at Supanova in Brisbane near the end of April. Tickets haven't gone on sale yet so I'm really curious as to what it will cost. If it's cheap enough I'm going.

If not, I'll kill myself.

No wait, I cant do that, because then I wouldn't get to meet Jewel the week after. I'll just be really sad and cry like a little bitch. Yeah, that'll do.

Guh...I went hunting for a dvd earlier. It was called Cheats. It has Jewel Staite in it. That's entirely beside the point. I ended up finding it in a really small video store just up the road from my house (after travelling 30km on my motorbike looking for it at every store) and I had to get membership before I could hire it out. SO. I walk up to the counter just as the girl is walking away, and she sees me coming up so she turns back around and OMG. She is the cutest thing I've ever fucking seen. NO, REALLY. I wanted to ask her to have my babies. She'd be no more than probably 18 or 19, which is great for me, about my height, long dark hair, gorgeous eyes, and the cutest little butt (uh...I honestly wasn't looking there on purpose - she was bending over to pick something up when I turned around).

I came right home and told Rick about her so he was like "Do you wanna see her again?" And I was all like "DUH." So, he wants to hire out some Xbox games so I'm taking him up there tomorrow. He thinks thats a good enough excuse for me to go and see her again. I agree.

I love everything right now. Including you. And you. And that funny looking guy with the red and orange knitted hat sittin' over in the corner too. What a weirdo.
