How much am I in love with the show Heroes?!

Oh yeah...*holds arms out as wide as they can go*

It's seriously awesome. AND...Hayden Panettiere! As a cheerleader!! Again!!! Also, I like Milo Ventimiglia a lot more in this show than I ever did in Gilmore Girls. Cause let's face it - in GG, I HATED HIM.

But no, seriously. WATCH IT.

I would also like to direct your attention to the PRETTY icon I made of Hayden as Claire -

I wish like hell that I had a computer capable of making fanvids. There are so many terrible ones out there, and I'd love to have a hand in making something beautiful. And on top of all that, there are so many things I watch that nobody else really does, so it would be nice to be able to add to an already extensive list of shows/movies that have (good) fanvids made about them.

Why didn't anybody tell me about the show "Ghost Squad"?!

Oh, that's right. It's an English show that barely anybody has ever heard of.

Anyway, I'm obsessing over Elaine Cassidy, and the way her gorgeous Irish accent leads me to believe that ordinary words like 'fuck', 'touched' and 'bugger off' were invented just so she could make them sound cute. Also, the sight of her in a police uniform (or the shower) is never a bad thing.

Elaine Cassidy played Maud Lilly in Fingersmith, which I am also obsessed with. I actually had my really homophobic aunt watching Fingersmith with me today and actually getting into it. Watching the lesbian sex scenes with her was a bit of a struggle, but we managed. I think this is about the 10th time I've seen it...probably closer to the 15th.

Anyhow, Ghost Squad looks pretty cool. I've almost finished watching the first episode, but I'm getting so overly excited about it that I needed to take a break. When it comes to cute women with accents, I get giddy. It's insane. I'M insane.

It's awesome.

And in true "every terrible movie needs a terrible sequel" fashion, here it is, ladies and gents.

Lesbian Pedophile: The Sequel.

This is the story of a sheltered teenage girl, and the crush that leads her onto a path of self-discovery. Emma is 15 years old, and still her conservative parents hire a sitter to watch her while they are out of town. Harmless fun soon turns to passion as the two get close in ways they never imagined they would.

I got a message from my boss on my phone when I woke up. He wants me to work Saturday, but I'm already working Sunday and my parents are coming down for the weekend. I feel bad saying no, and I REALLY need the money, but I'd prefer to hang out with my parents. I never thought I'd say that.

In other news, Haydn and I just watched Band Candy and Once More With Feeling. I think we'll watch Tabula Rasa next That episode always makes me sad. I can't stand to see Tara leave. Then I want to watch the whole season of South of Nowhere again. It's official. I'm obsessed. I must add it to my list of favourites. Buffy. Firefly. Sports Night. And now South of Nowhere.

It's too annoying to think about the fact that I have to wait until October at the earliest for Season 2. Then again, we don't get the show here so I have to wait until somebody puts it on the internet. So it'll probably be the end of the year before I get to see it. THAT SUCKS BALLS.

I believe, without doubt, that it is possible to fall in love with a character, or characters, from a television show. It is not possible, however, to fall in love with an ACTOR OR ACTRESS by watching them perform in a TV series.

More random thoughts on this... )

Anyway, it's like almost 4am, and I can barely read what's on my computer screen so I figure I should sleep. Besides, I'm not supposed to stay up late. Australians are pussies.

Did I even get anywhere with what I was saying? It probably didn't even make sense. WHATEVER.

And the more I watch Sports Night, the more I feel a Dana/Natalie 'ship coming on.

I just completed my very first entire run-through of every Buffy episode ever made.

I've now seen every episode, and it's actually made me really sad. Well, sad in a way. I don't really know what to feel. There are never going to be any new episodes. Anya is gone (which I knew was going to happen but it's so much more real, and hits you so much more when you know every piece of backstory there is to know). We'll never get to see Willow and Kennedy's home-made pornos (which is the one thing that kills me more than all else). Faith had sex with not just a MAN (she was MEANT to be a dyke), but a school PRINCIPAL, and an ugly one at that. Buffy and Faith will never be together, except in my dreams - and in the fanfiction of half the worlds population.

I have mixed feelings about the fact that it's really over. I know most other people went through this stage a few years ago, but this is new to me. It'll take time to deal with.

Rhona: I love the feel of wood in my hand.
Kennedy: Lost me there...

Why did nobody inform me of the cuteness of Ashley and Spencer from South of Nowhere?!

I don't particularly know or care what the show is about, but there's lesbians, and they're CUTE. SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME.

Now I'm annoyed that Australia won't be getting the show and the only place I can find it is for download from iTunes, which I don't use. GRR.

I ain't a happy little man. After the last few days I've had, I think people should comment and tell me something nice, something happy. You know you want to.

GUH. I hope I can convince whichever girl I end up with to let me call our daughter (if we have one) Spencer. I LOVE IT.

AND in other shitty news, the L Word Season Premiere was on last night at midnight, my friend JP told me he would record it for me on his DVD recorder (I couldnt stay up because I had work early), and when I came home to watch it this afternoon, I put the disc in the DVD player and it said BAD DISC.

So now that its finally back on after a year of waiting, I've missed the premiere and probably wont get to watch ANY of the series until I buy the DVD's, because of it being on so late at night. And considering the latest developments about my pay, I wont be getting the DVD's - or ANY DVD's for that matter - anytime soon.

The universe hates me. Hell, even I hate me right now. And I want to hurt everything. BADLY.

My life, at this point in time, revolves around a few very simple things. There are, of course, other things in my world, but the main ones are the ones that mean the most to me RIGHT NOW. They are the 3 F's. )

Here are the 3 latest icons I've made:

I love me some Sean Maher. When he isn't making out with my girfriend that is. He needs to keep his creepy hands off my Jewel (as opposed to my Family Jewels...those he can touch if he wants to).

AND OMG - I wish I could go to the convention Elisabeth Rohm is going to be attending. Why, oh, why don't I live in the States?!

I so rock. I just made myself this O.C. icon.

I was annoyed by the fact that as soon as the lesbian relationship started going somewhere...uh...it stopped. But now I'm just happy I got a sweet icon out of it :-)

Summer. Fucking. Glau. is going to be at Supanova in Brisbane near the end of April. Tickets haven't gone on sale yet so I'm really curious as to what it will cost. If it's cheap enough I'm going.

If not, I'll kill myself.

No wait, I cant do that, because then I wouldn't get to meet Jewel the week after. I'll just be really sad and cry like a little bitch. Yeah, that'll do.
jspencer1986: (Default)
Jonathan Woodward just announced for the Hub Productions Con!

I get to meet Kaylee, Glory/Courtney, and Tracey/Knox/Holden. THAT MAKES ME MIGHTY.

Also, RD Price (Angel producer or some such thing) and Nicola Scott (comic book artist). But they're not QUITE as important as my favourite girls. And Jonathan.

Me and Kate - My OTP

It is official. I ROCK.

And oh, how I love her...*sigh*

I paid $130 for a sealed box of serenity cards. It's been almost 2 weeks since I paid for them. If they aren't here today I'm not going to be happy, and if they're still not here tomorrow I'll be hitting up the seller about getting my $130 back on postal insurance and going somewhere else to get them. They should be here today anyway. I'm getting ahead of myself because I'm annoyed about not having my new toys to play with. Don't mind me.

In the last 3 days I've watched:

The first 2 episodes of Angel s1 three times each.
The 3rd episode of Angel s1 twice.
Episodes 4 - 14 of Angel s1 once each.

Trying to watch a show with Haydn is near impossible. The reason I saw the first 3 episodes so many times was because Haydn would make me wait for him so he could watch it too, then half way through the episode he would fall asleep. I would end up watching the whole episode 2 or 3 times just so that he could eventually make it to the end.

After episode 3 I told him I was just going to watch it by myself anyway. I'm sick of not being able to just watch something straight through.

I swear there is some annoying force making it impossible for me to reply to emails first go.

I was almost done writing back to John (I know I started it this morning but I got sidetracked...), when out of fucking nowhere comes a huge-ass storm and all of a sudden we have no power. Which also means we have no computer and most annoying of all, NO FUCKING EMAIL. Obviously the power is back on now, and it wasn't really out all that long, but still. The email is gone.

I'd started to make a habit of saving a copy of my emails before I click the send button since I've lost a few emails when pages refuse to load properly, or some other stupid thing happens to prevent the email sending. But I hadn't finished yet, hence, no copy. Nothing. Not a fucking thing.

SO. I'll be up fairly early in the morning since I'm getting to bed relatively early (or at least earlier than usual) and I will try to have an email for John before his lunch break. I just want to be in a good mood when I write, and after the night I've had, and now this, well...it makes for not such a good mood.

In other news I finished the first season of Dead Like Me today. I think the season only improved as it went along, but there's still a few things left unsaid that have been bugging me. Maybe I'll get into that tomorrow, but for now I need to sleep.

Have a nice day, peace y'all.

I just bought the DVD 'The Truth About Jane', starring Ellen Muth. The words 'puppy love' come to mind. She's so cute! Therefore, she is my latest obsession. At least for a week or two. I'll be getting Season 1 of 'Dead Like Me' on Monday, which she also stars in, so I can marvel at her cuteness and say 'Awwww!' every 3 seconds. It's just one of my more quirky habits. But anyway, if anybody else is interested, check her out at this site:
